Get ready to be dazzled at the 2025 Wurst Brass Festival as we proudly announce our guest Emcee: the one and only Justin Roberts! 🎉
Justin Roberts is the face you wake up to delivering your First Alert Forecast every weekday morning on the KCRG-TV9 Morning News and co-host of “Everyday Iowa” which airs weekday mornings at 9am on KCRG-TV9.
Before coming to KCRG, Justin spent time at KGAN-TV in Cedar Rapids and sat behind the microphone at radio stations like Newsradio 600 WMT in Cedar Rapids, Mix 94.7 KMCH in Manchester, and still hosts a Sunday evening show on 93.1 FM/1450 AM Classic KMRY.
Justin grew up near Fayette in Northeast Iowa and spent summers baling hay and helping on the family dairy farm. He’s an avid Iowa Hawkeye and St. Louis Cardinals fan, a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, an accomplished pianist and organist. As a kid, Justin wanted to be a music teacher, airline pilot, or game show host if broadcasting didn’t work out.
With his deep roots and vibrant presence, Justin embodies the spirit of Iowa, making him the perfect addition to our Wurst Brass Festival family. 🎺✨
